I do have a weakness for pens...goodness! It's a disgusting, horrible, addictive weakness and yes, it's bad. So bad that I would give up a meal to buy pens.

Funny thing is though is that I just collect them. I really don't use them or try not to. I'm not a writer; and I think I've overused the "I'm-a-student-and-need-pen-supplies" excuse.

I could not help myself today though. For $6.00 and under I was able to buy two of the most interesting designed pens for 2009. Yes, it may seem tacky. How dare Parker choose such radical designs! But eh! Big deal. So what if it's a fashion faux pas! It's cute and I'll let my weakness get me this time.

I've been collecting parkers for a long time now. My dad passed on to me a collection he had been keeping. I broke one of the two in the set which was a ball-point and a fountain pen. It was the ball point that did not make it through my careless high school years. Life in pens have never been the same since then.
